Seniors First

CETAT provides small group and individual computer literacy training to seniors at Prince George’s County residents that utilize the Surratts-Clinton and Oxon Hill  library branches. Instruction include, how to use your cell phone / tablet, setting up and using email and communicating with family and friends with Facebook. Many seniors also use this time to get assistance with resume development and job searching.

To participate,  seniors sign-up for individual 30 minutes appointments where they receive 1 on 1 training with CETAT instructors.  They are encouraged to bring their own devices or use the computers at the library.  Some instruction is provided by Prince George’s County High School students who earn community service hours, Prince George’s Community College students who may earn service learning hours or individuals who want to support our seniors.
