Seniors First
CETAT’s personalized digital literacy program designed to help older adults build confidence and independence with technology.
Confidently Staying Connected
Offered in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County, Maryland, the program provides in-person and virtual instruction focused on everyday technology use, including smartphones, tablets, email, and social media. A core emphasis of Seniors First is cybersecurity education, equipping participants with practical skills to recognize scams, protect personal information, manage passwords, and navigate the internet safely.
Participants may bring their own devices or use computers available at community-based locations. Seniors First is delivered as an intergenerational program, pairing seniors with younger instructors and volunteers who provide patient, one-on-one support. This approach not only strengthens digital skills and online safety, but also builds confidence, trust, and meaningful connections across generations.
